BIG Concerts & Events Scheduled for 2013 at VF Casino Resort

Valley Forge Casino Resort is kicking off 2013 with several big name acts, including a concert with country star Kellie Pickler, an appearance and performance by the cast of “All My Children” and weekly live music and DJs.

Valley Forge Casino Resort will host nationally known country singer Kellie Pickler at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 9, in the Waterford Ballroom. Pickler, a former American Idol star, is best known for her chart-topping hits “Best Days of Your Life” and “Red High Heels,” and her newest single, “Tough,” from her third album, “100 Proof.”
In support of Pickler’s crusade against cancer, for every ticket sold the resort will donate $2 to two regional cancer charities, Cancer Support Community of Philadelphia and Gilda’s Club South Jersey. In September 2012, Pickler shaved her head to raise awareness about cancer detection after a friend was diagnosed with the disease.
General admission tickets are $40. VIP tickets are $60 and include two complimentary drinks and appetizers. All tickets include free admission to Valley Forge Casino Resort’s premier country venue, Deuces Wild Buckin’ Bull Saloon, on the night of the show. Tickets can be purchased at www.vfcasino.com/EiV.
Pine Valley
Valley Forge Casino Resort will host the cast from “All My Children” for a Tribute to Pine Valley at 1 p.m. Feb. 17.
Fans can expect to get up close and personal with their favorite stars, as the event includes audience interaction, a lively question and answer session, behind the scenes stories and secrets, trivia, photos, and autograph signings. Participating “All My Children” cast members include: Walt Willey (Jackson); Vincent Irizarry (David); Darnell Williams (Jesse); Alicia Minshew (Kendall); Debbi Morgan (Angie); and Jacob Young (JR).
Tickets are $35-$75 and can be purchased at www.atributetopinevalley.com. Live music and DJs
Guests can enjoy DJs at Valley Forge’s Center Bar every Wednesday through Friday,
Valley Forge Casino Resort hosts the Bob Pantano Dance Party with the famed radio DJ every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., at Center Bar in the heart of the gaming floor. Host of America’s longest-running radio show, Pantano has brought hits to the Philadelphia area for over 35 years. His brand of classic Motown and disco tunes includes songs from the 50s through the 80s.
Lele performs February 19th in the Casino Lobby 6-10 pm. Darin McDonald performs February 12th & 26th in the Casino Lobby 6-10 pm.
